The Texas Affordable Housing Specialist (TAHS) certification equips you with knowledge of “workforce housing” programs and alternatives that help make homeownership in Texas affordable and sustainable. This program is designed to address the needs of underserved professionals such as teachers, nurses, firemen, police, and emergency first responders. The certification offers 12 CE hours, including the mandatory four-hour United Texas: Housing Initiatives that Work course. Other topics include: FHA lending, fair housing, and homebuyer resources related workforce housing.
